Introduction to Mindfulness Course

Six week course from February 13
thru March 20, 2018

Are you interested in increasing your sense of calmness and well-being? Neuroscience research has shown that developing a daily practice of Mindfulness Meditation can help cultivate these qualities in ourselves. Mindfulness can be viewed as a method of mental training in which we learn over time, to abide more and more in the present moment by focusing on our body, heart, mind and milieu, supported by an open, curious and friendly attitude towards ourselves and others.

The six weekly, 90-minute classes will teach participants basic principles of Mindfulness using guided meditation, explanatory lectures, practical tips and Q&A. The course is appropriate for those new to meditation or for meditators who wish to strengthen their practice. Join Mary Kullman, mindfulness meditation teacher and co-leader of Present Moment Meditation Group, from February 13 through March 20, 2018, Tuesday evenings, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
